As a trained wildlife biologist and conservation professional working in national parks for 35 years, I am a keen observer of the beauty around me. Although now retired, I remain at heart a documentarian, recording my surroundings through study, engaging in citizen science activities, and photography. I am in awe of nature, yet am equally inspired by the stories and surprises that I see in cityscapes. Architecture, people and culture are as stunning as the most beautiful natural landscape, animal, or plant. I relish seeing and capturing the light, shapes, and textures of my full environment.
